Hi, I’m Jill Sachs, an artist creating sculpted, textural work using acrylic, sculpting and texture pastes, and mixed materials.

My work is often inspired by travel or nature, but I rarely stay in one lane. Some pieces lean into landscape, some respond to social or political moments, and others are simply about color, pattern, and seeing what happens when I let curiosity take over.

I’m drawn to layered surfaces and subtle imperfections that make a piece feel lived-in. My art that has a little depth, a little edge and a lot of playfulness and curiosity.

My process is hands-on and intuitive: build it up, carve it back, add more, and trust my process. The work evolves layer by layer until it feels complete.

Every piece is one-of-a-kind and signed. I create work that’s tactile, modern, and quietly bold — art that brings texture, story, and personality into a space.
